AgeNation brings ‘Navigating Your Future’ Conference/Lifestyle Expo to Santa Fe 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012, 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012 and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012 for GenXers, Boomers, Elders and young folks. The focus of the conference is to provide knowledge and information from leading authorities about the future, how to live more consciously and age with more grace and understanding. Navigating Your Future Conference/LifeStyle Expo Authors and Musicians Come Together For Innovative Santa Fe Conference

AgeNation, the Santa Fe-based digital media company committed to creating solutions for people who weren’t born yesterday, and Empower New Mexico, a non-profit serving vulnerable members of our population, have announced that Navigating Your Future, a three day celebration and lifestyle expo at the Scottish Rite Center, August 24-26, 2012 will feature more than 20 individual musical performers and groups. This is a “Featured Event” the SantaFe.com event calendar.

This is one of the reasons Navigating Your Future is being billed as much more than a conference. It will also be a musical celebration of life and a source of inspiration as well as great content for GenXers, Boomers, Elders and young people who want to know more about the future and learn to live more consciously and age wisely.

Deborah Domanski, the lovely Mezzo-Soprano who has graced the stages of the Santa Fe Opera and will soon be performing at the Metropolitan Opera in New York; Cathy McGill, gospel singer extraordinaire; Marthy Reich, winner of NM Album of the Year, Michael Kott, remarkable cellist, Kurtis Hutchinson innovative keyboard maestro, Urban Art, an outrageously talents touring group of street musicians, Nancy Kenney, talented vocalist, and Michael Hall, gifted pianist will lead a remarkable assemblage of inspiring, uplifting musical talent.

They will join well known authors and experts: Wise woman and author, Jean Houston; Consciousness teacher Ram Dass, Author and Creativity Expert, Julia Cameron; Mythologist and Story Teller Extraordinaire, Michael Meade; Teacher, Truth Teller and Founder of The Spiritual Eldering Movement, Zalman Schachter-Shalomi; Best Selling Authors and Brain Power Experts Michael Gelb and Kelly Howell; Anthropologist and Mischief Maker, Angeles Arrien; Leading Wellness Expert, Dr. Hyla Cass; Author, Branding Expert and Reinvention Expert, Robin Fisher Roffer; Dream Expert, Kelly Walden Sullivan, Financial Expert, Francis Phillips; Film Maker and Palliative Care Expert, Camille Adair, World Renown Body Movement Experts, Frank and Lenny Hatch, and Second Half of Life Experts and Authors, George and Sedena Cappannelli will be joined by a host of other speakers for this weekend of relevance and enjoyment. Conference participants and expo attendees will also enjoy inspiring film, video and slide programs.

The Navigating Your Future Lifestyle Expo will be open to the public from 9 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday, August 25-26 for a suggested charitable donation of only $2 to Empower New Mexico. It will also feature a terrific array of products and services, a number of other talks, entertainment, special drawings and give-a-ways, refreshments and more.

A special Saturday Evening Program will feature uplifting entertainment, some surprise guests and the presentation of the 2012 AgeNation Life Achievement Awards to Jean Houston, Ram Dass, Zalman Schachter-Shalomi and Julia Cameron. Portions of the proceeds from the conference will support the work of Empower New Mexico and other non-profits serving vulnerable members of our aging population. This program will be a part of the weekend conference package and also be available under a separate ticket for others who want to attend.
