When Geno Jones penned his new relationship advice book, “Game Recognize Game: A Man's Perspective on the Game of Love” (published by AuthorHouse), he was inspired by one person in particular: his mom.
“I was inspired to write this book by realizing my mother's goal of not letting me grow up to be a man who physically, emotionally or mentally abused women like she was abused by her ex-husbands,” reveals Jones.
In “Game Recognize Game,” Jones delivers a no-holds-barred, self-help book that offers women insight into understanding men and strategies into building successful relationships.
Like Steve Harvey’s Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man (now a major motion picture featuring Gabrielle Union and Kevin Hart), Jones’ “Game Recognize Game” takes a straight-talk approach to delivering the rarely talked about aspects of obtaining and maintaining a healthy relationship. Yet, unlike other relationship books, “Game Recognize Game” approaches its subject by discussing the dark side of unhealthy relationships.
“What I give to women in the book comes out of abuse, pain, disappointment and heartache,” says Jones. “My mother’s goal was to make sure that no woman experienced abuse, pain, disappointment or heartache because of her son.”
With the release of “Game Recognize Game,” Jones is intent on making sure his mother’s dream is carried across the world.
