In reality, life is full of constant struggles. Most find it difficult to handle them and this often leads to tension, depression, health disorders, quarrels, frequent loss of temper and more. As soon as one loses the courage to go through the struggles of life, the burden of the whole world falls on his/her head.

In The Memoirs of A Blackened Heart, author Jasmeen Tensley laments the pain, hurt and struggles she went through growing up in a tearful collection of emotionally driven poems written from within her heart. With all honesty, she finds it very hard to choose the right way and admits that she was very confused. But, her poetic memoirs presents just a little of her life story that she sincerely wanted to share with those who are willing to listen and for those suffering with the same emotional trauma like her.

This poetic book painfully recalls her frequent struggles in life from tearful family acceptance, old wounds that never heal, heartbreaks and heartaches, living with a broken family, emotional confusion and so much more. She reveals all the darkest things as they happened but the most real and true too.

The Memoirs of A Blackened Heart is a revelation of a poetic story that will let those who struggles in life specially the young adults and teenagers who still are having a hard time finding their way to know that they are not alone in the battlefield and that they should learn to hold on and never give up because sooner or later, things will get better even though it seems like it will not. After all, everyone goes through problems or seasons of storms, darkness, and pain. One just has to push through it to be able to see the light and happiness in the end.
