Appointment of Marita van Wijngaarden adds accomplished advertising executive to help company capitalize on new market opportunities and growth in the global messaging market

eBuddy (http://www.ebuddy.com), a provider of web and mobile messaging worldwide, today announced the appointment of Marita van Wijngaarden as the company’s new Director of Worldwide Sales, where she will be responsible for leading the sales and ad trafficking teams and managing all international advertising sales. Van Wijngaarden brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience leading both online and offline ad sales teams, which she will apply toward driving global advertising sales for eBuddy with a strong focus on both the automated and premium ad market.

Prior to eBuddy, Van Wijngaarden served as Managing Director at WebAds, an interactive advertising company, where she was responsible for the Dutch subsidiary, and also prior to that led the company’s sales and operations. Prior to WebAds, Van Wijngaarden held the position of Sales Director at SanomaMedia, where she was responsible for managing the sales and B2B marketing activities for seven different publications. She earned a Bachelor degree in Marketing Communications from Eindhoven University, and a Marketing degree from the Netherlands Institute of Marketing (NIMA).
