Providence, RI (PRWEB) July 23, 2012
Vector Software, the leading provider of software solutions for testing safety critical applications, announced today the integration of its VectorCAST platform with the embOS Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) from SEGGER Microcontroller Systems, LLC. The emBOS integration was built on the ARM® Cortex™-M3 processor using the Keil™ compiler and the VectorCAST Runtime Support Package.
The embOS Real-Time Operating Systems is a priority-controlled real-time operating system, designed to be used as foundation for the development of embedded real-time applications. It is a zero interrupt latency, high-performance RTOS that has been optimized for minimum memory consumption in both RAM and ROM, as well as high speed and versatility.
Designed to offer the benefits of a fully featured multitasking system using minimal resources, the internal structure of embOS has been optimized to fit the needs of different industries. The embOS RTOS can be used in a variety of applications including: industrial controls, test and measurement equipment, telecommunications, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
