Interide Transport, an asset-based provider of transportation services and a subsidiary of Interide Holdings, has grown their truck fleet to over 75 trucks by adding 12 new Freightliner Cascadia’s to the company’s fleet of refrigerated trucks and trailers. Steven Gadd, Senior Vice President of Interide Transport said this purchase is the first step in a multi-phase, strategic growth plan aimed at growing the trucking fleet to over 300 trucks in the next three years. “Our plan for growth includes expanding our asset-based fleet of trucks as well as and adding new drivers and new driver facilities to help facilitate that growth.”
Sean Snow, CEO of Interide Holdings, reiterated the company’s’ vision. “We continue to build a roadmap for earning Interide the reputation of being the solutions-oriented provider for our transportation customers and this additional investment in assets contributes to our ability to achieve those goals.”
In addition to the new Freightliners’, Mr. Snow noted they had also made the decision to purchase new Utility refrigerated trailers. “The Freightliner Cascadia trucks in concert with the new utility trailers will help us to further reduce our fuel consumption and increase our bottom line. On top of that, the new tractor-trailer combination helps us with recruiting and retaining drivers. You can expect to see more and more Interide trucks on the road in the coming months.”
