Emmy nominations were already out. According to a report from mtv.com, the list of nominees for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards was announced on July 19. And noticeably, a number of big movie celebrities got nods from the awards body. GreenBeanBuddy.com analyzes the implications of their nominations in the entertainment industry.
“Mad Men” and “Downtown Abbey” dominated the leading drama category as the report said. It detailed that respectively, the two series earned 17 and 16 nominations each. On the other hand, “Modern Family” bagged the most number of nominations in the comedy category with 14 of it, it said.
However, in the miniseries or movie category, the big movie stars shined through. As seen on the list of nominees that the report shared, celebrities who either won or were nominated in the Oscars earned nods for the lead actor and actress award. Those celebrities were Nicole Kidman, Emma Thompson, Julianne Moore, Kevin Costner and Clive Owen.
