“Sometimes by doing what’s right can be one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever have to make, but you still have to do it despite the outcome,” says Lowe.

In her new novel “The Price of Righteousness” (published by iUniverse), Anita Lowe explores questions about morality and justice in a story about a woman uncovering a suspect world of secrets after her father’s death.

Using all of her investigative prowess to uncover her father’s killer, Libby Moore sets her sights on the suspicious Sanitonni clan. As she follows a trail of clues, she exposes one questionable occurrence after another, but the biggest surprise she finds during her investigation is that she has fallen in love with Michael Sanitonni. Despite this twist and the foreboding dangers she sees ahead of her in the murder investigation, Libby is determined to learn all the answers.

An excerpt from “The Price of Righteousness”:

The one thing she was sure of was the firm realization that she was a part of it. It was impossible to turn away and abandon the feelings he had brought into her life. Once you give your heart to someone, there is no turning away. As she climbed the stairs and made her way to her bedroom, she realized for the first time that she loved him and needed him to make her whole. Even now she knew whatever lay ahead they would be facing it together.

Lowe was inspired to write “The Price of Righteousness” after seeing the downtrodden’s struggle to make ends meet. She also hopes to honor not only Vietnam War veterans, but all veterans up to the present time for the sacrifices they give so we can enjoy Freedom here in the United States.

The most important message she hopes to convey with “The Price of Righteousness” is that people must continue to work to do what is right and honorable for all people in the world. “Sometimes by doing what’s right can be one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever have to make, but you still have to do it despite the outcome,” says Lowe.
