Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 20, 2012
TheTeaParty.net unveiled new technology today which will allow its supporters to virtually march to the Tea Party Unity Rally at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The rally, to be held on August 26 preceding the Republican National Convention, will also be broadcast online, allowing full virtual participation for those who are unable attend in person.
"We're very excited to give our supporters an opportunity to experience this rally and let their voices be heard from all across the country," said Dustin Stockton, Chief Strategist for TheTeaParty.net. "In these tough economic times, there are many people who can't afford the trip to Florida. Our virtual march technology gives them a chance to participate in this historic event without incurring the expense of traveling to it."
Once a supporter begins their virtual march at unityrally2012.com, they can track their progress, see their virtual location, and see the locations of other marchers from across the country.
"This is groundbreaking technology, and we're making it available to not just our supporters, but to anyone who wants to participate," said Stockton. "The Unity Rally will be a seminal moment in the 2012 election, and we want to make it easier for everyone to make sure that they stand up and are counted!"
