Easton, MD (PRWEB) July 24, 2012
Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals, a leading provider of professionally managed vacation homes on Maryland’s Eastern Shore are proud to announce that on an upcoming episode of HGTV’s popular series, ‘House Hunters – On Vacation’ will feature properties professionally managed and marketed by Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals. The episode is scheduled to air on Friday, August 3rd at 8:30 PM Eastern and Pacific Time.
‘House Hunters – On Vacation’ is a spinoff of the popular TV show – ‘House Hunters’. In each episode, HGTV gives lucky families the chance to stay in an incredible vacation home for a week. In each half-hour episode, they whisk away a family to a beautiful vacation destination to kick back, relax and explore all of the area's activities. Once they arrive at their destination, host Taniya Nayak takes the family to tour spectacular homes chosen just for them. The question the family and viewers must answer: Which home would they like to stay in for a week?
In the episode titled, ‘A Family From Boca Raton, Florida Goes to the Eastern Shore (Episode HHOV-210H)’ filmed in the fall of 2011 - a family from Boca Raton was selected to tour the St. Michaels, MD area and choose a vacation home to spend the week enjoying fishing, crabbing, local restaurants and sight seeing.
The producers of ‘House Hunters – On Vacation’ contacted Eastern Shore Vacation Rental owner Debbie Lipscomb based on the quality homes in their portfolio and comprehensive guest services information they provide. The family toured two of ESVR's homes—Serenity and Goat Island River Lodge (pictured).
Serenity is a renovated farmhouse on the Miles River in Easton, with pool, poorhouse and private dock. The family loved its charm and simplicity, however, instantly fell in love with Goat Island River Lodge. With 56 acres of privacy, sweeping Chesapeake Bay views, two piers, a sandy beach, and 4800 square feet of living space, this is the ultimate Eastern Shore Vacation Rental! Upon selecting this home, ESVR arranged for all the homegrown touches to make this vacation special—kayaks, firewood for the fire pit and pizza oven, and even an introduction to the "beach cat" that has taken up residence on the property.
“Our entire team is very excited about this great opportunity to not only show off our great services and selection of professionally managed vacation rental properties but the area that we have to chosen to work and live in as a whole,” stated ESVR owner, Debbie Lipscomb. “Steeped in history and charm, our area is the perfect location for your next vacation or even to relocate to.”
Goat Island River Lodge is one of 70 waterfront cottages, vacation homes and estates available for weekend and weekly rentals through Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals. ESVR has been managing quality properties in the St. Michaels, Easton, Oxford and Cambridge areas since 2004 and was named Talbot County's 2009 Tourism Business of the Year. With over 1,000 reservations per year, ESVR is the largest provider of vacation rental homes in the Chesapeake Bay area and draws guests from Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey and as far away as California and UK. These private homes include amenities such as swimming pools, docks, kayaks, bicycles and boat rentals.
