Fiddler’s Creek hosted its first Realtor Invitational Golf Tournament, allowing many of the area’s top agents to experience first-hand the amenities within the luxury master-planned community.
Local real estate agents participated in the golf tournament held on the 18-hole, championship Creek Course on July 7th. The invitation-only event was an opportunity for national homebuilders D.R. Horton and Lennar Homes to market their distinctive neighborhoods within Fiddler’s Creek.
The format for the Realtor Golf Outing was a handicapped scramble, which was won by the team of Corey Geddis, Scott Henderson and Rich Marquadt. Second place finishers were the Downing-Frye Realty team of Mike Hughes, Rick Baranski, Jeffrey Bodart and Dennis Huffman.
After the tournament, participants were treated to an enjoyable reception that was held on the Caxambas Terrace at The Club & Spa. Tournament winners were recognized and prizes awarded while everyone dined on the menu thoughtfully prepared by the Caxambas culinary team.
Fiddler’s Creek’s award-winning Creek Course is an awe inspiring signature course designed by acclaimed golf course architect Arthur Hills. The Creek Course offers a premier golf experience that not only pays homage to Florida’s natural beauty, but also seems to enjoy a symbiotic relationship with it. Combining open water, sawgrass marshes and more than 3,000 oaks and palms, this par 72 course with 72 bunkers, broad fairways, stone bridges and luxurious Comfort Stations plays 7,157 yards and has seven tee locations to suit players of varied skill levels.
Golf Club members have the opportunity to participate in member-only and member-guest golf tournaments designed to bring family, friends and fellow golf enthusiasts together.
