Author Gerardo Santos introduces his new book “UFO: Angels and the Mayan Calendar” (published by Trafford Publishing) as “… a warning to man that he is heading in the opposite path to his spiritual freedom.”

“Man,” Santos writes, “through no doing of his own, was led to embrace the outer spirit of consciousness (the human conscious), but he must learn to embrace his true inner spirit (the subconscious) in order to reach his spiritual destiny.”

Santos’ narrative crosses space and time. He begins in the far reaches of the solar system approximately 200,000 years ago and ends on Earth near 7,000 B.C. His cast of characters includes angels and demons, all working to complete a plan created to liberate the human spirit.

Given the recent furor over the ancient Mayan predictions of the end of the world in 2012, Santos is quick to discredit the predictions. “‘UFO,’” he says, “…shows the error in the belief that the world will end in 2012.”

Although he admits that “UFO” will not appeal to every reader, Santos does hope that readers will “… realize that the UFO should not be feared or ignored. The beings inside the UFO are the messengers of God who come to Earth to liberate the human spirit before the end of the world of biological consciousness occurs within the next 1,200 years.”

About the Author
By age 11, Gerardo Santos believes he experienced two UFO encounters that changed his mind forever. As an adult, he connected those encounters to information he professes was implanted in his subconscious by angels from outer space. Through self-hypnosis, he solves the mystery of the UFO and the Mayan calendar buried deep within his subconscious. “UFO: Angels and the Mayan Calendar” is his first book.
