the men in pink and blue who are partners in survival with the women we love
Rogers, AR (PRWEB) July 23, 2012
GearHeads.org, an auto news site that provides car reviews, news, rumors and more has donated $500 to Men Against Breast Cancer. The group pledged to donate $1 for each Facebook like they received during the month of June, up to $500. They followed up on their promise in early July.
Men Against Breast Cancer is the first non-profit organization of it’s kind. To date it is the only non-profit whose sole mission is to empower and educate men in the fight against breast cancer. The organization has coined itself as “the men in pink and blue who are partners in survival with the women we love.”
GearHeads.org founder Chris Riley supported this organization in order to help men who are effected when one of their friends or family members is plagued by breast cancer. They commented on their website, “Millions of men are directly impacted when breast cancer afflicts their family member, friend or colleague. Through our fundraising campaign, we’re aiming to raise awareness, raise funds, and help men know that there’s something they can do to help in the fight against breast cancer – for the women in their lives, and for women around the world.” For more information about GearHeads.org and their charitable donation, contact Chris Riley at chris(at)gearheads(dot)org or (479) 644-8280.
