Doing My Part Teams Up with Samaritan's Feet to Help Homeless Children in Charlotte, North Carolina

Samaritan's Feet will be on site to help give 150 children new shoes funded by Doing My Part Heroes on August 11th, 2012. These two organizations together will be able to instill a message of home in the children of the area.

Many Small Efforts Make Big Differences

According to Doing My Part Founder Mike Spencer, “Samaritan's Feet is a non-profit organization started by Manny Ohonme dedicated to putting 10,000,000 (10 Million) pairs of shoes on 10,000,000 kids feet in the next 10 years.”

Non-profit Doing My Part is excited to announce that they will be teaming up with Samaritan Feet's to give 150 children in Charlotte, North Carolina new shoes, socks, a footbath and a message of hope on August 11th. After months of work, Doing My Part is thrilled that the event is right around the corner. Being able to team up with Samaritan Feet helps to expand the message of hope that Doing My Part strives for.

Doing My Part is excited to be able to help Samaritan's Feet with their lofty mission.

All of the children who will be receiving the services of Doing My Part and the Doing My Part Heroes currently reside in the Salvation Army Center of Hope. These groups work to instill the message of hope in the children at the center. Teaming up with Samaritan Feet helps to make that message even stronger. While it might seem like a small gesture to some, this can lead to major changes in the children’s lives.
