BearPaw Corporation is pleased to announce the release of Pinpoint. Pinpoint is a software suite available to users of Genesys software who want to manage their license usage and compliancy and simplify configuration within their configuration management environment (CME). Pinpoint provides users the ability to identify directory numbers configured within their Genesys environment that are underutilized or not used. Over time unused directory numbers can lead to long start times for framework components, overly complicated or confusion in configuration and increased annual support costs. Pinpoint empowers administrators with critical information to begin clean up proceedings within their CME. Data is presented in the form of tables and graphs with recommendations for items to delete and which to watch.

"The release of Pinpoint shows Bearpaw's commitment to developing software and solutions which address CEO, CFO, CCO, and CIOs' challenges of being complaint while at the same time not affecting day-to-day operations in their contact centers. Pinpoint software addresses the question of what is actually being used versus what was purchased and we do this by providing a centralized tool to monitor enabled and concurrent usage overtime on a DN by DN basis." said Duane Abrams, President BearPaw Corporation.

Pinpoint features include tables and graphs that display usage of directory numbers against what is configured. This allows an administrator to quickly see those directory numbers in the environment that are used extensively and those items which are rarely or never used. Data is gathered in real-time from core framework Genesys components or can be imported from historical reporting data. Data collection components are currently only available on Microsoft Windows platform. However, the administrative front end is deployed as a web application on Apache Tomcat.

Pinpoint will be made available for download from the web site (http://www.bearpaw-software.com) on August 3rd or immediately by contacting Duane Abrams (duane.abrams(at)bearpaw-software(dot)com).
