MedScripts Medical Pharmacy, a new community pharmacy in Greenville, SC, will celebrate its grand opening with an open house on July 24, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The pharmacy, located at 1325 Miller Road, Suite K is now open and serving patients in Greenville as well as throughout the state of South Carolina. MedScripts is a member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and a ribbon-cutting is also planned for the same day.

Michael Calnan, R.Ph., Director of Pharmacy for Medscripts Medical Pharmacy and his team will serve the pharmacy needs of patients in South Carolina. Calnan is a licensed pharmacist with over 25 years experience in a myriad of pharmacy settings and is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences. Prior to his employment with MedScripts, he worked in a variety of retail, compounding, and long-term care settings. In addition to South Carolina, Calnan also holds current pharmacy licenses in New York, North Carolina, Florida, and Connecticut.

“I am very pleased with the initial reception the local medical community has given me,” says Calnan. “As someone who has worked in small community settings as well as large corporate structures, I believe I have taken all the positives I have learned across this spectrum to deliver world class care to all my patients,” he adds.
