Colorado’s largest hospital and healthcare network, Centura Health, joins the Explorys network.

“Explorys will be an important asset in expanding our overall capabilities by connecting vital data and forming it into actionable information to improve care for all Coloradans for generations to come,” stated Dana Moore, Centura Health’s SVP and CIO.

Explorys announced today that Centura Health has selected the Explorys platform and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications to power their Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives. This partnership is a foundational part of the Centura 2020 Strategic Plan to “Move Upstream” to manage health throughout Colorado.

Centura Health has a vast network of more than 6,000 physician partners delivering advanced care, across 13 hospitals, seven senior living communities, medical clinics, affiliated partner hospitals, and home care and hospice services. The organization provides an integrated, far-reaching network of care that spans the entire state and is united in a single mission.

In efforts to strengthen their foundation and growing network, Centura Health chose Explorys as a key partner in their overall population health strategy to support their ACO and clinically integrated organization. Designed and inspired by physicians and informatics leaders, Explorys combines the most powerful healthcare computing platform in the world with turnkey solutions for data integration, reporting, business intelligence, clinical integration, governance, at-risk population management, cost of care measurement, and pay-for-performance solutions.

Centura Health will be utilizing the Explorys platform and EPM Application Suite to provide insight into at-risk populations, provider performance, and addressable risk for managing better outcomes and costs.

“As Colorado’s largest health care provider, we are committed to improving health care value, and will leverage technology through our team of connected networks and shared resources to deliver accessible, reliable, and cost-effective health care,” said Dana Moore, Centura Health’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. “Explorys will be an important asset in expanding our overall capabilities by connecting vital data and forming it into actionable information to improve care for all Coloradans for generations to come.”

“We set out to address the immensely important need to leverage BIG DATA across disparate healthcare ecosystems and help healthcare leaders put it in the hands of care teams that can improve and streamline care,” stated Explorys President, Charlie Lougheed. “We are thrilled to help enable Centura Health’s mission through our platform, applications, and services.”
