Ties-Necktie.com, a well-knows retailer of men’s neckties and bow ties, has recently published a series of articles focusing on the top most influential fashion designers of the past decade. The series will highlight five designers that have made their mark on the industry since 2002, and have since had a strong influence on mens fashion around the world.
“We’re extremely proud to announce this series, as it will not only serve as a testament to our fashion-forward readers, but also an homage to the industry that we know and love,” says Ties-Necktie.com founder Hendrik Pohl. “Designers can come and go just as quickly as trends, but these are people that have either stood the test of time by now or are looking to show extreme promise in the coming future. As fashion experts, it’s our job to keep tabs on those who are having profound effects on the industry, and the five individuals who made this list are simply some of the most important figures in men’s fashion today.”
Each piece in the series highlights a specific designer and talks not only about their background and how they got their start, but also brings to the forefront specifics regarding their approach to design, as well as any significant contributions they’ve made to the industry. Towards the end of each piece, the overall “look” of each brand is analyzed, resulting in a comprehensive overview of each individual’s impact on men’s fashion.
“If you’re going to highlight someone as being one of the top designers of the past decade, you’ve gotta be able to back up your claim with some strong information about what they’ve done to push things forward,” says Pohl. “A lot of these guys have resumes that are a mile long, so it can be difficult to cover everything in just 500 words. That said, we think we’ve done a great job with these pieces providing a comprehensive overview of all they’ve done for the industry.”
In the past, Ties-Necktie has published a variety of article series covering different aspects of men’s fashion, including fashion tutorials, “best of” lists and series’ that highlight the history of the men’s fashion industry. All these articles are published weekly on Ties-Necktie's blog.
“The article series’ are extremely popular,” says Pohl. “Our readers aren’t just interested in looking good; they want to learn as much about the industry as possible.
