Projetech Makes a Difference for Critically Ill Children and their Families Through their Support of “A Kid Again”

Projetech, a privately-held Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of IBM Maximo® asset management software, participated in the 24th annual Celebrity Softball Classic held last month at the Florence Freedom Ball Park. The event raised more than $180,000 for The Smith Family Foundation, whose programs currently support 26 different non-profit organizations. As an event sponsor, Projetech was pleased to support A Kid Again, one of twenty-six non-profit beneficiaries of the event. A Kid Again provides year-round, fun-filled group activities and destination “adventures” for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The Cincinnati chapter of A Kid Again offers many different ways for companies and individuals to get involved throughout the year. Financial donations can be a one-time gift or a monthly contribution through the Memory Makers Club. Volunteers are also needed, from helping out in the office to working at one of the many special events.
