Leading tarp and canopy distributors Tarps Plus and Ace Canopy sign on for another holiday tarp drive to help the homeless.

Ace Canopy will join Tarps Plus for annual holiday 2012 tarp drive for homeless. Ace Canopy teams with Tarps to bring a bundle of joy to the less fortunate this year. This winter could be a different story for the homeless, thanks to the teaming up of the two to donate tents and canopies. It has been on the forefront of making a society a better place and this year promises to be even greater.

Ace deals with a variety of wholesale outdoor tents. Party tents and a variety of outdoor canopies is their major line of operation. Tarps, on the other hand, offer a broad spectrum of tarps and a wide selection of canvas tents, both for in-house and out-house purposes.

CEO of Tarps Plus Michael Stein says, “This is the best thing about what we do. Giving out the tarps is the least we can do for these people living on the streets.”
It has been a huge contributor to the mission. The mission is an annual event which aims at giving back to the society through ensuring that the homeless get some shelter. It has been donating shelter to disadvantaged people and this year is bound to be greater as it is joined by Ace Canopy for the drive.

Tarps are made of vinyl. This makes them waterproof. They help to cover against rain and snow. Tents, on the other side, protects against the hazards of Mother Nature. The two wrapped in one ribbon could be the greatest gift that the companies can give to those without homes.

Before the winter sets in, the two entities head to Los Angeles on a mission for the 2012 drive. The event for this year is planned before Thanksgiving later in the year. This will surely go a long way into ensuring that the less fortunate have some warm place to lay their heads.

This is a small gesture to provide a protective cover to those living in streets. The benefits extend to many who will be uplifted by the gesture.
