The Multicultural Health National Conference, sponsored by Global Advertising Strategies and Univision, will feature presentations from key thought-leaders in the multicultural health marketing sphere and will focus on best practices for reaching the key multicultural populations in America including but not limited to African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans. The conference will include examples of successful multicultural marketing efforts, segmentation information, and case studies on effective uses of targeting these key growing demographics. The goal of the Multicultural Health National is to provide the health marketing community with insights on how to better communicate important health messages to cross-cultural patients. DTC Perspectives and the conference partners believe doing so will result in simultaneously improved health outcomes, access to treatment and pharmaceutical industry prospects.
Accompanying the conference launch will be a new publication called Multicultural Health Marketing Magazine. This niche publication will provide readers with periodic updates, inspirational case studies, legislative/political issues and editorial columns. The issue will be published by DTC Perspectives with both internally generated content and externally submitted articles, vetted by editorial staff. The premiere issue will launch in October of 2012. Subscriptions will be free to qualified subscribers.
