Metroplex Technology Business Council Names Lone Star’s John Volpi a 12th Annual Tech Titans Awards Corporate CTO Finalist

Tech Titans are recognized as outstanding technology companies and individuals in the North Texas area who have made significant contributions to their industries during the past year. These pioneers are impacting tomorrow's technology today with their innovation, leadership and advocacy.

The Tech Titans awards celebrates the achievements of cutting-edge leaders from more than 4,000 tech companies in the North Texas area who have elevated technology to the industry overall.

The Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), the largest technology trade organization in Texas, has named Lone Star Chief Technology Officer, John Volpi, a finalist for its Tech Titans Corporate CTO of the Year Award. The other Corporate CTO finalists are from Hewlett Packard, Telligent and Accudata Technologies.

Tech Titans are recognized as outstanding technology companies and individuals in the North Texas area who have made significant contributions to their industries during the past year. Lone Star is an internationally recognized in business and technology decision support, modeling, and simulation, and a provider of advisory services addressing highly complex client issues.

“Tech Titans is the premier recognition of innovative technology companies and individuals who contribute to the vibrancy and success of the North Texas region,” said Charlie Vogt, president chair of the MTBC’s Tech Titans steering committee. “These pioneers are impacting tomorrow's technology today with their innovation, leadership and advocacy,” he stated. The Tech Titans Award winners will be revealed at the Tech Titans Award Gala at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, on Friday, August 24.

“The Tech Titans awards celebrates the achievements of cutting-edge leaders from more than 4,000 tech companies in the North Texas area who have elevated technology to the industry overall,” said Steve Roemerman, CEO of Lone Star. “John has demonstrated a never ending passion and the vision to develop best-in-class decision analysis tools like TruNavigator™,” Roemerman noted.

The TruNavigator™ decision analysis engine has been recognized as a premier tool for use by the Department of Defense and in Enterprise applications. In a recent contract award to Lone Star, the Naval Air Systems Command indicated it is the only known company to provide a tool like TruNavigator™, which incorporates sophisticated Bayesian inferencing with Monte Carlo analysis in a highly scalable platform.
