New York, NY (PRWEB) July 25, 2012
HookLogic, the leading provider of ecommerce media solutions and services, today announced the appointment of John Roswech as EVP of Global Media Sales. Bringing more than 18 years of sales management and advertising experience, Roswech will build on the media sales momentum that HookLogic has enjoyed with brand marketers and their agencies.
Roswech comes to HookLogic by way of Jingle Networks, Inc. where he served as President and guided the growth of free directory assistance service, 1-800-FREE-411. He spent six years working with both brand and direct response advertisers to engage in-market customers through the directory assistance services channel. Roswech accelerated the company’s growth, resulting in a $62 million sale to Marchex, a call-based ad network that spans traditional media, online, and mobile.
Prior to Jingle Networks, Mr. Roswech served as Vice President of Sales of Atlas Solutions (aQuantive) where he managed sales and account management teams for third-party ad serving, search, rich media, and landing page optimization. Under his sales leadership, revenue increased from start-up in 2001 to over $100mm, enabling in the sale of aQuantive to Microsoft for $6.2bn in 2007. Before aQuantive, Roswech held positions at Matchlogic ([email protected]), Brio Technology, and Forman Interactive (Register.com).
“I’m delighted to welcome John to our leadership team. He has a track record of tremendous sales growth and will be a driving force in growing monetization for retailers by serving the needs of brand advertisers,” said Jonathan Opdyke, CEO of HookLogic.
Roswech joins HookLogic on the heels of recent client, personnel, and capital investments, including a $9.5 million growth investment from Bain Capital Ventures.
“My experience has taught me that there’s no better time for brands to reach their consumers than while they’re actively shopping. HookLogic turns that influence point into an attainable, tangible opportunity for brands unlike any other media opportunity,” said Roswech. “This is the vanguard of how brands should engage consumers.”
