Three emerging technology companies: G2J, Connexus and Vidtel joined VCI-Group as emerging technology members and are scheduled to attend and present their cutting edge and emerging products and services to the Visual Communications Industry Group (VCI-Group) annual Conference in Monterey California October 22-24, 2012.
G2J, a worldwide videoconferencing managed services company, provides infrastructure management services, videoconcierge, auditing, consulting and training as well as telepresence and videoconferencing sales and service to clients all over the world. According to Geoffrey Vande Weerdt, Managing Director, The Americas, “G2J has a broad range of expert services offering real time remote or local management of the customer's videoconferencing and telepresence platforms. Additionally, G2J is expert in videoconferencing and telepresence products and services worldwide, and can offer a comprehensive range of services for secure remote meetings throughout the world; and we believe that one sure fire way to reach North American users is to actively engage and participate in the VCI-Group. Their 450+ user members represent colleges and universities, Fortune companies as well as state and local government agencies throughout North America. We believe we can best reach our channels and their end users by reaching out to the members of VCI-Group. And we look forward to participating as an emerging member in the exhibits at the VCI-Group annual event.”
“The mission at Connexus is to make it possible for developers, service providers and resellers to quickly and easily sell leading edge networks, gateways and videoconferencing and collaboration services to the SMB marketplace”, said Jonathan Schlesinger, CEO of Connexus. “And we accomplish this with little if any additional demand on their resources. We furnish the resources. At Connexus we focus on delivering the capital intensive applications like Vidyo and Fuzebox as services for developers, resellers and service providers so they can deliver instant visual collaboration with transport and gateways services without capital investment. We know we can reach our reseller and service providers by serving the VCI-Group members. We look forward to demonstrating a powerful and leading edge application at the VCI-Group event in Monterey California, in October”.
Vidtel is an emerging visual communications company that helps companies connect any videoconferencing end point to any other videoconferencing end point in real time, “on the fly” and in scheduled meetings. Vidtel allows mobile users and users of Skype and Google to interact with standards based telepresence rooms and private networks. Scott Wharton, Founder and President of Vidtel said, “Vidtel is helping form a new industry category for cloud video conferencing service and is enthusiastic about joining the VCI-Group as an emerging visual communication company. We know that we can serve our resellers and channels by connecting with the membership within the VCI-Group community. And we know we can best serve our users by testing our solutions with the experts within the VCI-Group. They have a collective expertise that can serve emerging companies like no other association. We look forward to our first event with VCI-Group in Monterey in October 2012. “
"In addition to conference exhibits, our CVE Update, and leading edge technology sessions, we are razor focused on putting innovative companies and technology in front of our more than 450 end-user members said Todd Hughes, VCI-Group Director. We want to keep our membership well informed and current, especially when it comes to leading edge offerings. And our new low-cost Emerging Membership shows just how committed we are. G2J, Connexus, and Vidtel, are just a few of the new members that will be helping our membership evaluate ground-breaking products and services at our October Annual Event.”
