VaultLogix was recently accepted into the US, European Union and Swiss customer protection program that facilitates fair trade between member nations.

VaultLogix, a privately held online data backup company, today announced its inclusion into the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Program. Sponsored by the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) in coordination with the European Union’s Directive on Data Protection, the Safe Harbor Framework legally binds member companies to internationally agreed-upon Safe Harbor Privacy Principles.

The Safe Harbor Program also outlines standard arbitration and mediation mechanisms for businesses in the EU and Switzerland who do business with VaultLogix. In addition, Safe Harbor legally mandates that VaultLogix cooperate with the EU and Swiss data protection authorities for all disputes.

The inclusion in the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework documents VaultLogix compliance to international data protection privacy policies. The company’s strict attention to security and privacy is upheld for local and international customers and partners who elect VaultLogix as their online backup service provider.
