Urban Design Group Adds K. Ashley Roberts, CPSM, LEED AP, as Marketing Manager at the Firm’s Dallas Studio

K. Ashley Roberts was recently named as Marketing Manager with the architectural firm Urban Design Group.

We were impressed with Ashley’s background and diversified set of marketing abilities. Her knowledge of both the Dallas and Atlanta markets is a huge plus since she will be coordinating activities between our two studios.

Urban Design Group is proud to announce the addition of K. Ashley Roberts, CPSM, LEED AP, as Marketing Manager at their Dallas studio. Roberts brings over six years of marketing experience to UDG’s studio. As Marketing Manager, Roberts’ primary responsibilities include brand management, strategic planning, public relations and supervision of all aspects of the firm’s marketing and business development efforts for the Dallas studio.

Roberts graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations. She earned her Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation from the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and she is recognized as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Roberts has been active with SMPS throughout her career, and will serve as the 2012-2013 Director of Programs for the Dallas Chapter and as a member of the sponsorship committee for the 2013 Southern Regional Conference. Previously, she served as the Sponsorship Chair for the 2011 Southeastern Regional Conference, and she has served as a member of the Program Committee since 2008. In addition to earning her CPSM designation, Roberts received the SMPS Atlanta “Pacesetter” Award in 2011. She is also a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) Young Guns.

Prior to joining UDG’s Dallas studio, Roberts worked with Rees Associates, Inc. for over five years in three of their offices located in Oklahoma City, Atlanta and Dallas. She was named Rees Atlanta “Team Player of the Year” in 2009.

Roberts’ vast experience includes business development, research, networking, internal message management, public relations activities and strategic planning. She is a talented ghostwriter of white papers/articles and has strong skills as a technical writer/editor for collateral materials. Roberts managed, planned and developed e-marketing campaigns, website content, news releases, tradeshow exhibitions and special events. She also has experience in preparing winning proposals and presentations. Roberts is a skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Vision CRM.
