Brooklyn, NY real estate attorney Robert Howe - host of the weekly online radio show Howe's New York - spent time chatting with the #1 wellness center in America, The Green Spa, on last week's show. The ranking comes from DAYSPA Magazine and The Green Spa's Sheila Brody discussed numerous topics including what it meant to be a woman owned business in Brooklyn and The Green Spa's plans for the Merchants of 3rd Avenue driven Summer Stroll event.

In the previous two weeks, Robert Howe was joined by New York State Senator Martin Golden and New York City Councilman Vincent Gentile on Howe's New York, both discussing their involvement in Summer Stroll. The event, which is an off-shoot of the New York City Department of Transportation's Summer Streets program, will close down 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge from 82-89 street creating a palazzo-like outdoor marketplace where shops, restaraunts, performers, and singers all mingle with strolling pedestrians.
Regarding Summer Stroll, Robert Howe - also the president of the Merchants of 3rd Avenue - had this to say about how it builds local business to business relationships: "It requires collaboration among the merchants."
Robert Howe is the president of the Merchants of 3rd Avenue. Founded in 1933, the Merchants of Third Avenue Civic Improvement Association covers the commercial corridor of Third Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn from 65th to 101st Street. The non-profit organization boasts over 300 businesses employing over one thousand people over it's 36 block strip.
