Love in the Mirror thanks No More Poverty, Inc. (nmp.org) and Julian Omidi for their help. Love in the Mirror is a charity founded by 8 year-old Jonas Corona to help homeless children in and around Long Beach.
“It feels really good when I’m able to help other people and make them feel good,” says Jonas who founded Love in the Mirror when he was only six years old. “These funds will help us feed the hungry and provide clothes and toys to children who have little to nothing. A big thank you to the Omidi brothers and No More Poverty for helping us to help others.”
No More Poverty, Inc (nmp.org) is a not-for-profit charity organization founded by brothers Michael Omidi, M.D. and Julian Omidi and has applied for charitable organization 501(c)(3) status. The organization seeks to provide novel solutions to eradicate poverty in the United States and abroad. NMP’s focus is increasing long-term sustainability through grants and business development that will create jobs and commerce in disenfranchised areas. NMP encourages the public to donate directly to the featured charities. You are invited to join the fight for NO MORE POVERTY! Please visit No More Poverty or Facebook.com/nmp.org for additional information.
Through Love in the Mirror, Jonas strives to inspire other young people to make a difference through their volunteer commitment of providing needy and homeless youth basic necessities such as food, clothing and learning materials. Jonas and Love in the Mirror were recently featured on the ABC television show Secret Millionaire. Jonas chose the name of his charity because “every kid should look in the mirror and love themselves.”
