Ronald Schmidt is the chief credit officer of a bank in Torrance, Calif. He has been in the banking industry for more than 40 years. Schmidt has been a life-long resident of Southern California.

As a teenager, Schmidt began to dream detailed ghost stories, one of which turned into an episode of The Twilight Zone. Since, he has been putting his ghost stories into writing. “The House on Terminal Island” is Schmidt’s fifth book.
