Onward Behavioral Health (http://www.obhcares.com) has named Dr. Susan Campling Executive Director of their residential eating disorder program for adult women. Dr. Campling will begin in her role at Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders on July 27, 2012. Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders (http://www.magnolia-creek.com) is located in Chelsea, Alabama just outside of Birmingham. Magnolia Creek Treatment Center provides residential treatment and partial hospitalization services for women struggling with eating disorders.
Dr. Susan Campling, a licensed psychologist, brings with her to Magnolia Creek Treatment Center more than twenty years of clinical and executive experience in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential, and outpatient mental health care. Dr. Campling’s expertise is in the fields of trauma, eating disorders, and addiction. Dr. Campling comes to Magnolia Creek Treatment Center from Pine Grove Behavioral Health in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she served as the director of a residential treatment program. Previously Dr. Campling was the Director of the Keystone Center ECU in Chester, Pennsylvania. In addition she was founder and Director of the Professional Assessment Center at the Keystone Center. Dr. Campling has presented extensively on the topics of addiction and trauma and published papers in the neuropsychology of HIV and women sex offenders. Dr. Campling is also a recipient of the Caron Foundation’s Health Professional of the Year Award.

Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders is a part of Onward Behavioral Health which provides outpatient counseling services for mental health and substance abuse in addition to outpatient and residential treatment for eating disorders. “Dr. Campling’s diverse background makes her an excellent addition to the Onward Behavioral Health team. In addition to Magnolia Creek we have outpatient mental health, eating disorder, and substance abuse counseling programs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida. While her focus will be on Magnolia Creek her experience in the arena of outpatient mental health and substance abuse will add value to Onward Behavioral Health’s outpatient counseling programs as well” stated Mr. Murray.
