'Inside Chatsworth House' is a stunning video montage capturing this beautiful Derbyshire stately home in all its glory. The video was launched just over a year ago and the team at the UK's largest Peak District guide for accommodation celebrate landslide viewing figures. Over 14,000 people, with over 200,000 views are the figures which have just been recorded and everyone at is delighted with the film's success. Just one of over 170 videos launched by the online directory for all things Peak District, 'Inside Chatsworth House' is definitely a hit with You Tube viewers.

'It's a home which welcomes viewers around the world to view it's masterpieces, a family home, a 'Palace Of The Peak' and we were granted very grateful access to its interior so we could make a video and showcase the house to those people all over the world, who may not be fortunate enough to see inside it in person.' He goes on to say,

'The video is aimed at inviting the viewer to walk at their own pace through the house, to absorb the atmosphere of the beautiful rooms and the story that they tell of the family's history, which has lasted over 450 years so far and is still going strong.'

Being able to see inside Chatsworth House is certainly a wonderful way of discovering the secrets it holds dear, whilst sitting comfortably in your own home. Looking through the huge windows with their newly gilded frames, there are views of the very famous park and the gardens with its wonderful waterworks.

'Just wandering through the house with our cameras, it was still humbling to see the magnificent displays of paintings, the furniture and silver shining to within an inch of its life, wonderful old tapestries and porcelain to be admired,' says Jim Dobson, fellow director of Peak District online.

'The gallery of neoclassical sculptures is truly breathtaking, the famous scene of course, in the recent adaptation of Pride And Prejudice featuring Kiera Knightley when Chatsworth was used as Pemberley.'

'Our holiday cottage owners, hotels and bed-and-breakfast owners have reported a real surge in their videos being viewed recently which we have produced for them over the years. With the recent spell of very bad weather we've been having here, it's nice to show our accommodation in the summer months, to give hope to holidaymakers that the weather will be just as good when they arrive,' says Jim.' It's a great way of promoting your business, but it's also a fantastic insight to gain the atmosphere of the holiday home the viewer may want to spend their summer break living in.'
