We are extremely excited to have Gary on board with the MG Stover team. His prior success and diverse experience across different sectors of the finance industry will bode well for his role as our new Director of Business Development.
Broomfield, CO (PRWEB) July 27, 2012
The Director of Operations of MG Stover & Co., Josiah Reich, announced today the hiring of Gary Newlin as the new Director of Business Development, effective immediately.
Mr. Newlin brings 14 years of finance and investment sales experience with him to the firm and has a diverse background within the industry. He began his finance career with Merrill Lynch & Co. in the Denver office. Newlin was promoted to Senior Financial Advisor after some early success that included sourcing a public company relationship that netted assets in excess of $100 million. He continued his success at Merrill Lynch with a promotion to the prestigious high-net-worth office in Cherry Creek. The group handled sophisticated asset and risk management, estate planning, insurance, business solutions and credit & lending programs for their 200+ client relationships. Gary managed a client base consisting of affluent families, corporations, foundations and non-profit organizations.
In 2005, Gary was hired as Director of Business Development for a subsidiary of Nelnet Inc., a provider of alternative investment options for issuers of asset-backed securities. In less than 3 years, Gary was instrumental in nearly tripling revenue and more than doubling investment dollars placed for the company. Most recently, Gary was a Producer for Van Gilder Insurance and developed new opportunities to provide Van Gilder’s corporate risk management services. He focused the majority of his time on placing Executive Liability coverage for finance and investment companies.
