In response to client feedback, Employee Benefit Specialists (EBS) has leveraged their software and benefits experience to create a proprietary, native iPad application. With the growth of tablet use, came the need to offer the WORKTERRA product on a native app which increases speed and ease of use over simply directing them to the iPad browser.
Based on extensive user studies, the WORKTERRA iPad application reduces the time to complete open enrollment, qualifying event and demographic changes. The application provides administrators and employees all of the same features and functions available to them in the cloud based version of WORKTERRA.

Upon completion of the final round of usability testing, EBS received considerable feedback about how easy to use and straightforward the application is. This led EBS to make changes to the user interface of their cloud based version of WORKTERRA to more closely match the iPad application. WORKTERRA CEO Rhodes points out that the iPad application uses the same business logic as their established cloud based WORKTERRA system. Users can log out of their work computer, go home and pick up at the exact same spot in the workflow on their iPad.
