A finalist for presentations including Cervical Pregnancy and Leukemia in Pregnancy, Palak Doshi, DO, is engaged in a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Center for Women’s Care & Reproductive Surgery in Atlanta, under the leadership of Thomas L. Lyons, MD.

Dr. Doshi emigrated from India to the US in 1989 and was raised in New Jersey. She earned her BA in Genetics at Rutgers University with a double minor in Mathematics and Spanish.

“Over the past two decades, we have chosen the highest caliber Fellows possible to train them in gynecologic laparoscopy,” said Dr.Lyons, medical director of the Center for Women’s Care. “Dr. Doshi is an admirable addition to our staff.”

Following Rutgers, she studied at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania and then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York.

Through her residency, her case report presentations include Pyonephrosis in Pregnancy and Sickle Cell Crisis and Postoperative Hematoma and a research project discussing the Association of Maternal Fever and Meconium.
