TubeMogul is the de facto early leader in real-time buying of video and built a platform that cuts through a lot of the hot air in the market by making sophisticated brand advertising look easy
Emeryville, CA (PRWEB) July 26, 2012
TubeMogul announced today that Russ Fradin, a longtime executive and co-founder of several leading companies, will serve on TubeMogul’s board.
Fradin joins at an auspicious time, as TubeMogul scales its media buying platform amid wide adoption by top brand marketers and trading desks. According to Forrester, real-time media buying of video is “reshaping the very foundations of video advertising” and is poised to grow to $667 million in revenue by 2013 as brands combine the branding power of video with the targeting and optimization real-time buying makes possible. As the largest buyer of real-time video advertising in the world and one of few companies to serve over one billion video ads per month according to comScore, TubeMogul is well-positioned to capitalize on this rapidly-changing market.
Fradin, a seasoned veteran in digital advertising, is well-suited to influence TubeMogul’s continued development. Formerly, Fradin was CEO of Adify, a company he co-founded which later sold to Cox Enterprises for over $300 million. Before that, Fradin served as Senior Vice President of Wine.com and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at comScore. Currently, Fradin sits on the board of Udemy and is currently CEO of Dynamic Signal, a company he co-founded that connects business and consumers through social media.
“TubeMogul is the de facto early leader in real-time buying of video and built a platform that cuts through a lot of the hot air in the market by making sophisticated brand advertising look easy,” says Russ Fradin. “I’m excited to join the team.”
Fradin will round out TubeMogul’s existing investors and strategic advisers, which include Ajay Chopra of Trinity Ventures, Roger Ehrenberg of IA Ventures, Ashu Garg of Foundation Capital, Howard Lindzon of Knights Bridge Capital and Dave Toth, the founder and former CEO of Netratings (now part of Nielsen).
“Fradin obviously has his pick to join many top companies’ boards, so to have him join is a testament to our brand marketer clients and how they are using our platform to simultaneously maximize impact and ROI,” says Brett Wilson, CEO and Co-Founder of TubeMogul.
