The Top of the Tower, the rooftop restaurant of The Beekman Hotel in midtown Manhattan announces special New York Restaurant Week menu.

Top of the Tower, Beekman Tower Hotel’s penthouse restaurant located in east side Manhattan, is pleased to announce a special, limited time dinner menu in celebration of New York City’s Summer Restaurant Week. The special three-course prix fixe menu highlights Top of the Tower’s Contemporary American cuisine.

2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Restaurant Week in New York, and deals at some of the city’s best restaurants – including Top of the Tower – are scheduled to run from July 16 through August 20 in honor of the event. The discounts offered during restaurant week give people the opportunity to sample foods from some of the finest dining establishments in New York. Patrons can enjoy three-course lunches for only $24.0,7 and three-course dinners are offered at just $35.00 every Monday through Friday of the event. Sunday specials are optional and at the discretion of each restaurant. Gratuity, beverage, and tax are excluded. As an added incentive in celebration of Restaurant Week’s 20th year, American Express cardholders who pay for their meal four times or more during the event will receive a $20 dining credit reward.

Top of the Tower is pleased to be a part of this year’s 20th anniversary celebration. Guests dining at Top of the Tower will enjoy a prix fixe dinner menu consisting of an appetizer, main course and dessert. For appetizers, guests can choose from arugula salad or butternut squash soup. As main course, options include Scottish salmon or chicken paillard. And for dessert, the choice of chocolate cake or raspberry New York cheesecake. Every item on the menu is created using only the freshest ingredients of the season. In addition to fine dining, Top of the Tower offers spectacular, 360 degree views of Manhattan from the 26th floor of the Beekman Tower Hotel.

Established in 1928 in the mid-town east side of Manhattan, The Beekman Tower Hotel maintains the art deco styling and charm of the past combined with today’s most modern amenities. Though it is a boutique-style hotel, all of the rooms at Beekman Tower are suites, providing spacious accommodations not commonly found in Manhattan. Guests can choose from either a studio suite, one bedroom suite, or two bedroom suite. Of the one and two bedroom suites, superior and deluxe options are available. Because Beekman Tower Hotel provides all-suite lodging, it is suitable for both short and long term stays.
