Evolv, the leading provider of SaaS-based workforce intelligence, today announced it has expanded its management team to address accelerating growth driven by strong interest in its analytics platform for workforce improvement. The company has named former LRN Executive Vice President Jim Blackie as Evolv’s EVP of Sales & Marketing.

Evolv is growing at a rapid clip, having increased revenue by 500% and doubled its customer base and staff in 2011. Evolv Expands Leadership

Blackie brings 20+ years of proven sales and management leadership to Evolv. He comes to Evolv from LRN, a company that provides solutions to global organizations focused on developing values-based approaches to governance, culture and leadership in order to enable sustainable growth. As an EVP at LRN, Blackie grew the company over three-fold by building a global sales and marketing organization and rapidly expanding LRN’s customer community. He was also successful in expanding LRN’s global presence through his focus on international relationships. Aside from Blackie’s day-to-day responsibilities, he spoke frequently as an advisor on how to transform company culture and educate leadership to drive organizational results.

Prior to LRN, Blackie served as group vice president of North American sales at Gartner, where he played a pivotal role in Gartner’s growth and market leadership. He also held various sales and management positions at Xerox Corporation. Blackie holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University.
