Female Hip Hop Artist Myah J Cast for Major Film Role

Sexy, sassy, hip hop artist Myah J has inked a deal with HoodStarzz Network,TMiles and Schlonda McCarthan to showcase her range of talent in the music and film industry. If you haven’t heard of Myah J, she's been the diamond in the rough in the male dominated industry.

Recently Myah J wrapped up her tour with rap mogul Nas in South Africa. It is hard for female rappers to make a big impact unless you're Nicki Minaj, but Myah J has what the female rap game is missing. Her sultry flow and laid back demeanor allows her audience to see the raw talent that she possess unlike other current female rappers. Myah J brings back the versatility that once graced female rappers in the early 90's like Missy Elliot, Foxy Brown and Left Eye. Myah has released several mixtape tracks that has the underground market buzzing. The 23-year-old artist says she is "ready to annihilate the rap game and bring back the originality to hip hop."

Her recent signing to HoodStarzz also allows Myah to venture into a unfamiliar areas such as acting. She has been cast as the leading actress in the upcoming Hoodstarzz film Baby J, which will air on BET in coming months.

The film captures the world's HIV/AIDS epidemic within the African American community. As the leading actress of the new film she will be able to showcase her new-found talent of acting while contributing to the film's soundtrack.
