Everyone goes through different struggles in life
Rising City, NE (PRWEB) July 28, 2012
In the 2011 reboot of the cult-classic film series, “Fright Night,” the life of a young teenager named Charley is quickly disrupted when a vampire, played by Golden Globe-winner Colin Farrell, moves in next door. However, what happens when a single mother must face off against terrible evils in order to save her own children? It is this theme that drives author Kathie Lightfoot’s new book, “Unchosen Destiny” (published by AuthorHouse).
“Unchosen Destiny” tells the story of Kayla Green, a 30-something single mother of three who has to deal with more than the average parent in order to not only survive, but also keep her children safe. As it turns out, Kayla is actually a white witch by birthright, and her children are also gifted with talents. She must use her talents, while advancing her children’s, in order to save themselves from a new and frightening evil that has moved in next door.
Excerpt from “Unchosen Destiny”:
“I had this feeling that someone was watching me so I quickly turned around to take a look.
When I turned around I saw a tall man standing right there just a few feet from where I stood. He was wearing a black hoodie and worn blue jeans. I saw him quickly turn around and then he had his back towards me. That seemed to make me a little unnerved.”
“Everyone goes through different struggles in life,” explains Lightfoot. “Like most people there is more to her than meets the eye. I hope readers take away the feelings of inner strength and to triumph through adversity.”
