“I’ve been inspired by my own realizations and greater sense of peace to journey out, learn more and share with others that enlightenment is within our reach"
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2012
With an intent to answer the question “What is the Universal experience A Course In Miracles seeks to lead us to?” spiritual mentor Craig Villarrubia travels around the world meeting and interviewing ACIM students and teachers.
The film captures Craig and the film crew’s own self-discovery as stories of enlightenment are shared and insights into truth grow stronger. Throughout his travels, Craig’s interview and hosting style is practical, fun and entertaining. Regardless of where in the world Craig visits, similarities of insight, discovery and experience are revealed. Across the country and oversees, a Universal awakening to Spirit is broadcast. A chronological diary of the film’s production will be posted on facebook.
The film intends to answer the following questions: What is A Course In Miracles (philosophy)?
What is a Universal Experience (as referred to in the Course)? How do I discover the truth of who I am?
In Joy Films sets out to create a fun “edutainment” documentary about the Course, where the operative word is “FUN.” The production company intends to make a spiritual movie with a high production value that highlights the Course’s teaching and how to apply its principles in a “day-to-day” practical manner. The project will address the Course’s central themes without being a “how to movie”
Several interviewees discuss how they have become transformed as a result of applying Course principles. They talk about how they’ve come to know the truth about themselves (i.e., Spirit.) They will share their experience with miracles and Self discovery. Teachers will help clarify central themes and identify pitfalls and misconceptions about the Course. In addition, the film follows groups and conferences and demonstrates how mighty companions come together to learn (or unlearn) in an effort to “know” themSelves more clearly. All is captured with a lot of laughter, inspiration, and discovery. The following ACIM teachers have been attached to the project: David Hoffmeister, Earl Purdy, Carrie Triffet, and Gary Renard. In Joy Films expects to announce additional participants in coming months.
