The questions “Who am I?” and “Where do I belong?” are two of the most important questions whose answers often elude our youth today. It requires a lot of courage to look at oneself honestly and answer the first of these questions, “I am the person I want to be, and I’m proud of that.” In author Tyler Millard’s publishing debut, Bryan the Bumblebear, readers will follow Bryan, a grizzly bear, on his journey to prove to the world that he is no ordinary bear, but a stinging, buzzing, flying bumblebear.

The reader is introduced to Bryan as he is receiving a very special package in the mail: his bee suit! In the process of trying out his new stinger, Bryan grows tired and soon is fast asleep amid a field of wildflowers. When he wakes, a swarm of bees have mistaken Bryan for the biggest and strangest bee they have ever seen. Will they find out Bryan is truly just a bear, or will he be accepted into the hive as Bryan the Bumblebear?

Enhanced by colorful and vibrant illustrations, this book is a fun, adventurous and inspiring read filled with lessons for everyone to learn.
