This July Parklane Mattresses released their first commercial in a new three part ad campaign—visible on Comcast and basic cable stations in the Portland Metro area.

Parklane Mattresses recently launched a new commercial in their new three part ad campaign. This campaign will replace their "Hotel," "Joey" and "Dog" spots that originally aired in the Spring of 2011. For the new spots they teamed up with FlickFive in Bend to feature a fresh and clever way to think about mattress shopping—heavy on what makes Parklane stand out from the rest of the competition.

Parklane's first spot to be release, "Coffee," showcases a consumer discussing what it might usually take to save up for a new mattress: "Forgoing that daily cup of caffeinated goodness, only so we can hide our savings under a sad lumpy mattress until we can afford a new one." She has a better idea than to give up her "Grande-hot-decaf-five pump-vanilla-macchiato for a good night sleep. That's why I purchased a locally made mattress from Parklane Mattresses. Superior quality for the price." It's like having your cake but eating it too, but for her it's coffee instead.

Parklane wanted a more unique and energetic feel to their commercials. A group of spots that could stand out from the crowd and be noticed. What they felt was missing from their previous spots was the memorable quality where viewers could recall after the first frame that it was Parklane Mattresses. Though entertaining in their own right, it wasn't until the very end the viewer even knew it was Parklane or even about mattresses. They also wanted a spot that shared more of their unique story to help separate themselves from the ever encroaching sales-all-the-time competition. They are pleased to have released a more direct approach in this new campaign and look forward to the release of their two additional spots at the end of July and early August.
