I've trained with the best BJJ fighters in the World to include Marcello Garcia, Demian Maia, and Jacare. Gabriel Gonazaga was by far, the best instructor out of all of them.
Enfield, CT (PRWEB) July 29, 2012
Connecticut Mixed Martial Arts Team, Link BJJ & MMA of Enfield, CT announced that they will hold a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminar with BJJ Black Belt and Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight fighter Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga. The seminar will be held from 1pm-3pm April 28th, 2013 and is open to all skill levels. Participants do not have to be a member of Team Link BJJ to attend the seminar held by this World Champion Black Belt. The location for the event will be at the Connecticut Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Training Center located at 648 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT.
The seminar will cover Judo throws, half guard passes, side control submissions and mount submissions. Highlighted in the event, Gonzaga will share his never before seen secrets and provide a detailed breakdown of the Ouchi Gari, a Judo throw he is famous for in BJJ competition. Watch here as Gonzaga masterfully performs this technique on Robert Drysdale, ADCC World Champion and BJJ coach for UFC superstars Randy Couture and Forrest Griffin.
The BJJ seminar will cover a unique sequence of techniques that will take the student from the beginning of a fight to the end. This format is easy to learn as students will flow from the takedown to the half guard, to the side control and finally the mount where the fight will be finished. Instruction will begin by securing the takedown and bringing the BJJ student's opponent to the ground. Participants will then learn the most effective techniques used by Gonzaga to pass the half guard and move to the side control position. From there, Gonzaga will teach his favorite submissions from side control, provide tips for applying crushing pressure, and reveal his secrets for controlling an opponent from this dominant position. The BJJ World Champion will then demonstrate how to safely transition from side control to the mount position where students will be shown the most effective and devastating submission techniques from the mount.
This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts fighters the world has ever seen. Gabriel Gonzaga's Connecticut BJJ seminar will take a BJJ fighter's game to the next level and give them the tools they need to be a grappling champion.
