PhotoContests.com announces plans to launch a new photo contest at the unveiling of their new website, coming soon. Pre-registration is now open at PhotoContests.com. The first contest will have a prize worth $5,000, along with other prizes for second and third place.

Justin Bowen, founder and CEO of PhotoContests.com declares, “We wish to welcome all photographers, professional and amateur, to come participate in the challenge. After the first contests are over, we plan on holding at least one contest per month and will be offering cash and other prizes to the winners.”

There will be two photography contests launching with the new website. One contest will be a free contest, where anyone can participate and the prize will be a very tasty $1,000. Then, they will “up the ante” with their generous $5,000 cash contest, which will be a pay-to-enter contest, but will award first place $5,000 and also award a second and third place winner with cash prizes.

A professional photographer will act as a judge in each contest to help facilitate the distribution of prizes and awards. There will also be a voting system in play that will allow fellow photographers the opportunity to vote on each others’ work and offer feedback. Non-photographers will have the ability to see the amazing photos of others and view their on-site portfolios, but will not be able to vote.

“We want the contests and voting to be a fun and fair way for photographers to get feedback from fellow professionals, while potentially being awarded for their great work.” Justin adds, “We will be holding contests in varying categories each month and will see work from some of the world’s best photographers.”

Photographers who are interested in learning more about the photo contests at PhotoContests.com can visit the site at http://photocontests.com. Pre-registration is now available and allows users of the site to secure their own unique user name.
