Three early learning centers in the EFS program have achieved national accreditation since January.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 31, 2012
Through on-site mentoring, EFS Academy training and enrichment opportunities, Educational First Steps helps create early learning centers of excellence for children and communities who need them the most. As you will see in the features below, the first half of 2012 has fostered accelerated progress for EFS. The organization is moving forward with energy and strategic vision, the "one childhood, one chance" of those EFS serves always at the forefront.
Newly Accredited Centers
Three centers in the EFS Four Steps to Excellence program have achieved national accreditation since January. Join EFS in celebrating this great accomplishment achieved by Hamilton Park United Methodist Church Day Care Center, Kidz Kollege and Margie Faye Foundation! EFS is proud to have assisted these centers along the road to national accreditation and looks forward to continuing a strong, productive partnership with each of them.
Four Steps to Excellence
In an effort to serve children, families, teachers and directors with the highest quality, EFS refines its programs and services through meaningful improvements. Most recently, EFS has implemented increased accountability and the recognition of milestones and competencies along the way to national accreditation in the Four Steps to Excellence program. These changes will allow EFS to serve assisted centers with greater effectiveness while continuing to emphasize strong partnerships and mutual benefits.
Web and Social Media Presence
EFS recently launched a new website - http://www.educationalfirststeps.org. The site presents the EFS mission and message with greater clarity and provides more resources than ever before. EFS is also amplifying its social media presence through various outlets such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
These recent progressions spur EFS on toward greater outcomes for economically disadvantaged children, making the most of their "one childhood, one chance."
