Napa Valley-based Cuvaison Estate Wines has announced the formation of a new in-house sales team responsible for the sales of the Cuvaison and Brandlin Vineyard brands nationwide. Joining the company in newly formed positions are: Carole Klincke, Western Region Sales Manager; Merritt Woodington, Central North Region Sales Manager; John Smylie, Central South Region Sales Manager; Nicole McLean, Northeast Region Sales Manager; Luciano Armellino, Southeast Region Sales Manager; Carrie-Anne Kunkel, Sales Coordinator; and Melody Royval, Staff Accountant. All positions report to Steve Richards, National Sales Manager, who has been with Cuvaison Estate Wines since 2010.

Prior to joining Cuvaison Estate Wines, Western Region Sales Manager Carole Klincke spent the last 19 years with Caymus Vineyards managing distributors and establishing a successful track record in the western United States. Central North Region Sales Manager Merritt Woodington, who has 25 years of experience in the wine industry managing finance, sales and regional marketing, was most recently with Aveniu Brands in the northern region. Central South Region Sales Manager John Smylie possesses 30 years combined experience in the supplier, wholesale and retail sectors, including ten years with Constellation Wines/Icon Estates. With 16 years of industry experience including distributor management and winery and retail sales, Northeast Region Sales Manager Nicole McLean previously represented two family owned wineries in Paso Robles and Rutherford. With certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Southeast Region Sales Manager Luciano Armellino has spent 13 years in the wine industry, including three years in upper management for Southern Wine & Spirits in Florida.
Sales Coordinator Carrie-Anne Kunkel has four years of wine industry experience in direct sales, marketing and hospitality and worked with a vineyard climate analysis firm prior to joining Cuvaison Estate Wines. And Staff Accountant Melody Royval joins the team with six years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, compliance and inventory management.
