Steel Crazy Iron Art, a military-focused artistic metalworking company in Buffalo, NY, is pleased to announce its licensure with the Department of the Navy for the production of USMC-branded products.

Steel Crazy Iron Art, a Buffalo designer of military-themed metalwork, is pleased to announce its official licensure with the Department of the Navy. This recognition allows the company to produce and distribute unique products with the branding and slogans of the United States Marine Corps, including the Eagle Globe and Anchor design. Along with its other signature product lines, Steel Crazy Iron Art hopes to bring these artistic recognitions of passion, honor, and service to homes worldwide.

The story of Steel Crazy Iron Art begins with owners Ed and Brian Hogle. After 25 years of experience in the steel and construction industry, the brothers decided in 2004 to use their knowledge of metalsmithing to produce unique works of art. Soon realizing the demand for their custom designs, the brothers began to develop ten separate product lines containing dozens of artistic pieces each.

Utilizing sophisticated computer-aided design software, the brothers design each piece before cutting the designs out of solid steel with plasma cutters or water jets. Following the precision cutting, the pieces are hand-polished, torched, powder-coated and baked to completion. The Hogle brothers soon discovered a demand for their military-themed designs, which eventually led Steel Crazy Iron Art to seek a Department of the Navy license.

In addition to their USMC branded family of products, the craftsmen offer other various military-themed pieces large and small, as well as gifts for soldiers and veterans. The designers consider their signature piece to be the 9/11 Standing Tall memorial, which depicts a giant steel "9" next to two "1's" forming the Twin Towers. This artistic piece has received publicity through news organizations and appearances at air shows, parades, and other memorial events.

The Hogles are proud to join the family of USMC branded products, and hope their iconic designs will inspire hearts and honor service wherever they are installed. Though their designs ship worldwide, Steel Crazy Iron Art is U.S. veteran-owned with pieces exclusively made in America. The company strives to provide each customer with the skill and artistic expertise necessary to realize his or her unique vision.
