Denise Cicchella, President of the New York/New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Construction Auditors and the rest of the executive board are pleased to announce that the chapter will be hosting a free training and networking event on August 22, 2012 (12:00-4:00) at 50 Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan. This year’s theme is “Construction Audit: Adding Value”. This exciting event is open to all tri- state construction auditors and construction professionals who would like to network, share ideas and grow the industry; membership is not required to attend.

The New York/New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Construction Auditors was founded to advance the visibility of construction auditing in the tri-state metro area, provide a forum to discuss current issues in the profession, and provide networking opportunities to optimize communication and support of those in the field. Membership is open to construction auditors and construction professionals.

The New York/New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Construction Auditors is proud to be the first active chapter of the National Association of Construction Auditors, an organization created to enhance the control environment related to construction projects, by addressing the needs of those auditors/accountants who spend a significant amount of their efforts auditing and/or controlling construction projects; Owner construction/facilities management personnel who want to improve their knowledge base of contracts and process controls resulting in their construction projects being better managed and controlled; and project Managers/construction management personnel who want to improve their knowledge base of process controls, thereby improving the overall product delivered to their customers.

Attendees will gain valuable insight from Lawrence Bartelemucci and Finley Harckham, both of Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C. Both are recognized leaders in the construction law and insurance industry.
