Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) July 31, 2012
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July, 2012)— Just in time for the start of the school year, 120 kindergarteners will get new backpacks filled with all the supplies they’ll need for their first year of school. The backpacks and supplies will be provided by McDivitt Law Firm’s community program, McDivitt Makes A Difference, which chose Centennial Elementary School in the Harrison School District based on its Title I status. “The generous donation from McDivitt Law Firm will ensure that every student starts the year with what he or she needs,” said Kimberlee Noyes, assistant principal of Centennial Elementary school. “This partnership is a model for how a business can invest in the future.”
On Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m., kindergarteners at Centennial Elementary will begin to choose one of 12 different styles of backpacks, including red and blue stripes, camouflage patterns, and pink and brown polka-dots. The backpacks will come with crayons, coloring books, water colors, glue, scissors, pink erasers, and all other supplies needed for the year.
McDivitt Law Firm has been working hard to help foster local education in Colorado for years through their annual PSA contests and sponsorships of high school DECA teams.
