"GE is definitely a place that gives you the opportunity to prove yourself and work your way up to the top. It's fast-paced here so the days go by quickly."

Great Expectations is a matchmaking dating service with more than 35 years of experience under its belt that caters to the busy working professional. By merging today’s technology with old fashion personal service, Great Expectations continues to be a leader in the dating industry by giving their members more than one way to connect with one another.
Great Expectations has been in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for nearly 25 years, and was recently nominated as a top place to work. In July of 2012 Great Expectations was picked as one of the Best Places to Work in DFW by the Dallas Business Journal in the small business category.
To be considered for the award the company must first be nominated, “It was a big enough honor to be nominated, words cannot express how exciting it is to have been chosen,” said John Meriggi, President of Great Expectations. After being nominated and placed into the correct business size category, all of the employees have the opportunity to complete a survey with questions about the company’s operation, the leadership and their qualities, and the work place environment. After all the surveys are received the scores are tallied with the highest scores coming out as the winners.
“I've been working for Great Expectations for over 10 years, and couldn't ask for a better career. GE is definitely a place that gives you the opportunity to prove yourself and work your way up to the top. It's fast-paced here so the days go by quickly. We work very closely with each other, and for most of us, we consider the employees and the clients a second family,” said Sarah Riordan, Fort Worth Telemarketing Manager.
“Most of us are very social people to begin with and what better environment to work in then a dating service. We get to host events and introduce singles to the love of their lives, it’s such a rewarding career!” said Stefanie Hogan, Dallas’ Director.
Even though the average tenure is well over 10 years, Great Expectations is always looking for new individuals to bring in fresh ideas and perspective. Meriggi is very proud of the hard work his staff has put forth over the years and hopes to see this award again in the future.
